Frequency Converters

WJ's CV family is designed to meet the performance, functionality and cost goals of current and next generation mobile infrastructure base stations. By combining low noise figure and high-linearity in a low-cost QFN package, the CV series highlight WJ's multi-chip-module (MCM) semiconductor technology. These single- and dual-branch converter combine a limiting LO driver that can be operated directly from a synthesizer and RF chains consisting of a MMIC mixer and RF and IF amplifiers in a 6x6 mm QFN package. Typical applications include frequency up and downconversion used in CDMA/GSM/TDMA, CDMA-2000, W-CDMA, and EDGE 2.5G and 3G mobile base transceiver stations.

RFID Products

RFID technology allows companies to improve real-time visibility of their inventory, work in process, and shipping and receiving operations. WJ Communications' revolutionary PC-card-compatible multi-protocol UHF and fixed-portal RFID Readers provide a low-cost, flexible, compact platform for rapid testing and implementation of RFID capabilities. WJ designs and manufactures transceiver modules for major RFID OEM's.

WJ also offers a range of RFID semiconductor devices. WJ's discrete semiconductor products can serve various functions in UHF and microwave RFID readers and transponders, and the RFID transceiver chipset under development will offer state-of-the-art integration of UHF reader RF functions. The high performance power amplifiers from WJ can be used as a driver or output stage in RF power amplifier section in RFID fixed readers
